Your mission at Savity:

  • Apply your development skills to our Kotlin/Java and Spring-backed (micro)services
  • Drive initiatives to increase automation and scalability of our cloud-based platform
  • Get in touch with Angular-based frontends when implementing full-stack features
  • Contribute to an evolving architecture of our platform and its integration with partners and banks
  • Apply test automation, CI/CD and state-of-the-art engineering methodologies that encourage a clean, high-quality codebase
  • Work with a cross-functional team and participate in all stages of development, creating direct impact on our product
  • Be a mentor to the team when it comes to clean coding principles, code quality assurance, and code reviews

What you need to be successful:

  • Significant track record in Java/JVM-based software development and relational databases
  • Profound understanding of RESTful API design and microservice architectures
  • High motivation to write clean, well-tested code, always having the next refactoring opportunity in mind
  • Solid know-how using CI tools and applying DevOps methods
  • Basic knowledge to participate in frontend web development (Single-Page Applications)
  • Demonstrated experience (several years) in a similar software engineering role

  • You mastered Spring Boot-based apps before, leveraging JPA/Hibernate, Maven, OAuth, containers, 12-factor app principles

Your mission at Savity:

  • Constantly improving our DevOps processes, which support developers to deploy, configure, and monitor applications
  • Operating the DevOps toolchain, which serves CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code tasks
  • Taking ownership of running our cloud-native platform, managing Kubernetes clusters and AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Participate in JVM-based backend development related to cross-cutting concepts and integration with cloud infrastructure
  • Take initiative for availability, scalability, monitoring and disaster recovery measures in production
  • Closely collaborate with the team for architecture decisions, application security considerations, and assessment of technologies

What you need to be successful:

  • You are an advocate for state-of-the-art DevOps principles with a good understanding of the use and benefits of CD, GitOps, and IaC methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge in setting up CI/CD pipelines and operating containerized applications (Docker)
  • Profound scripting and administration skills of Linux systems and databases
  • Solid coding skills using high-level, backend related programming languages
  • Experience using and managing cloud infrastructure and relational databases
  • First experience or curiosity for operating Kubernetes clusters

  • Create significant positive impact on the usability and perception of our product
  • Specify user interaction designs for user journeys and new features, utilizing mockups/wireframes
